Oil and filter change, fluid top-ups, safety checks and a VAG diagnostic scan with service-interval reset (labour only; parts quoted separately according to your model).
What’s included in a major service with timing chain kit (R2,000 labour)?
All minor service items plus timing chain kit replacement (chain, guides, tensioner as applicable) using VW/Audi timing procedures and locking tools. Labour only; parts quoted per VIN.
What’s included in a major service with cambelt (R1,500 labour)?
All minor service items plus cambelt/tensioner/rollers (water pump recommended where applicable). Labour only; parts quoted per VIN.
How do I know whether my car uses a cambelt or a timing chain?
It depends on engine code/model year. We confirm from your VIN and advise the correct service and parts before quoting.
